Without any synergy to power it up it is too expensive and sorcery, a lot of times in more normal decks the milling of two cards will be painful and you would have much rather been casting Anticipate

Being able to quest with Merlin and then challenge larger threats with your supported character makes for a strong turn, especially when enabled by a common-rarity card

You can say its a mix of an enabler and a payoff for mounts/vehicles

But I also think DIY boxes run too many risks of not meeting enough of the criteria I need when considering a deck box
